How do I reserve a party date?
When a party date and time has been selected, a $75.00 deposit is necessary to secure your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable and must be received at time of booking. At this time, parties may be booked by telephone.
How far in advance should I book my party?
We suggest booking parties at least 4 - 6 weeks in advance. However, if you need a last minute date, please call or email to check availability.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or check.
When do you need the final count of guests?
A final headcount is required three (3) business days prior to the party. An email will be sent the Wednesday prior to your party date requesting a final head count.
For what ages are your partiez?
Partiez at Applauze Eventz & Partiez are designed for two different age groups. Princess Partiez are girlz ages 4 through 6, although on occasion we have done parties for 3 year oldz. For the older girlz (ages 7-14), we have our Diva Partiez. Then for the diva is the more mature, we have our Ladiez Only Partiez for Ladiez Only.
How long is a party?
With the exception of the Tea Party, all parties are 1 and 1/2 hours long. The Tea Party is 1 hour and 45 minutes. If celebrating a birthday and if time permits, presents can be opened at our party place.
What happens if I have to cancel my party?
Once a deposit has been paid, parties may only be postponed once. We will gladly work with you to find an alternate party date. If you choose to cancel our services for ANY reason, your deposit is non-refundable.
What happens if the birthday girl becomes ill and I must cancel?
If the guest of honor becomes ill, we will gladly work with you to choose an alternate date for your party based on availability. Your deposit is non-refundable, however we will apply it to another party date.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of guests I can invite?
The package price is for 8 girls and the guest of honor, who is always FREE! If less than 8 attend your party, you will still be charged for the same amount. Attendance over 8 guests will be charged an additional rate per person. Additional charge per girl varies depending on the package, see package details. Please consult Applauze Eventz and Partiez for a maximum number of guests, as we always try to accommodate your needs. IMPORTANT: A service charge of $30 is applied to parties with 15 - 19 girlz attending -or- a confirmed party of 15 - 19 girls. Add a $50 service charge for parties with 20+ girlz or a confirmed party of 20+ girlz. For Ladiez Only Partiez, the sky's the limit!
What happens if a guest arrives late?
Our parties are packed with fun and follow a schedule. Guests who arrive late may join the party at whatever point the party has progressed to. For example, if the guests have already completed makeup and hair and have started their fashion show, as an example, the late guest will skip hair and make-up and join the show.
What Should Party Guests Wear?
We suggest your guests wear leotards, bodysuits or bathing suits under their street clothes. We suggest including a note about this on the invitation.
Can Other Parents and/or Siblings Stay for the Party?
If there is room, parents and other adults are always welcome to stay, however, it is not necessary. Applauze Eventz & Partiez is located in an area with shopping and restaurants. Siblings must be supervised at all times with adults, unless they are one of the guests. Siblings (of any age), who are not guests of the party girl, will not be permitted to dress up or have make up applied or hair done.
How is make-up applied and hair styled?
Makeup is applied with disposable applicators. The same applicator is never used twice, even on the same guest. Mascara and eyeliner are not used. When styling hair, the Appluaze Divaz use anti-bacterial gel in-between guests. Combs and brushes are not used. All clips, hair extensions, bobby pins, etc are for each guest to keep, as they are never reused.
What do I need to supply?
The Cake! Parents are responsible for the cake, cupcakes, brownies or the "sweet" of your choice. Parents may also bring pizza or other food choice for "lunch" or "dinner". If you want pizza, please let us know in the beginning so that we can adjust our schedule accordingly. Applauze Eventz & Partiez provides tables and chairs along with paper and plastic products such as plates, forks, napkins and cups. Applauze Divaz will also supply and serve beverages to the guests.
